Hi All,
UniCloud 2.0 is officially released. If you are interested in trying UniCloud 2.0 to create Public, Private or Hybrid cloud infrastructures please contact us at http://www.univaud.com/about/contact/
UniCloud 2.0 leverages the UniCluster 5.0 framework. UniCloud 2.0 is packaged as software Kits that install on top of UniCluster changing a physical cluster management and provisioning solution into a Cloud provisioning solution for Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures.
UniCloud supports the following cloud environments:
Public Cloud
* Amazon EC2
* Rackspace Cloud
* Go Grid Cloud
Private Cloud
* Oracle Virtual Machine (Xen virtual machines)
Any of the three cloud environments above can be mixed and matched to create a hybrid cloud infrastructure. UniCloud automatically controls the provisioning, OS installation, Application Installation, configuration management, file management, user account management in the cloud infrastructure.
You can even create one single cloud or cluster environment containing physical, Xen virtual, Amazon EC2 and Rackspace cloud nodes all in one environment - everything is automated all you have to do is 'launch' the nodes or optionally allow our policy engine to launch the nodes based on rules and policies that you configure.
UniCloud 2.0 comes with our Simple Policy Engine. The policy engine opens up new an unique ways of managing your cloud infrastructure. Using our example policies or creating your own policies it is easy to create rules that can 'burst' your cloud infrastructure on demand....The policy rules can be integrated with other components in UniCloud such as Sun Grid Engine to automatically add compute nodes by scaling out on demand and when the nodes are no longer needed to scale back.
Hybrid cloud infrastructures can be complex to configure and setup but with UniCloud 2.0 everything is automated. We did the hard work of configuring the VPN connection from your infrastructure to the public cloud infrastructure and the automatic DNS, routing and NAT translation to ensure that nodes create in the public cloud infrastructure appear to be connected to your own internal networking infrastructure.
Once again if you are interested please contact us at http://www.univaud.com/about/contact/
Thanks.
